 | DJM001 Pro Magic Wand A magic wand is
a stick and you can pay anywhere from $1 to $100 or more for a stick. Real magicians,
however, can do miracles with a good stick. More importantly, a wand is the symbol of our
profession. If you just need a stick, consider our DS002 for $7.50. Meanwhile, for those
who have arrived, we have a really great wood wand with heavy brass tips. (You can't tell
from the photo but the natural wood is dark brown showing the grain.) Also, it unscrews in
the center like a pool stick. A wand is too long to comfortably carry on your person. In
two pieces, it fits comfortably in your inside coat pocket (for those of us left that
still know how to dress), in your back pocket or your close-up case. It is neat to begin
your magic by casually taking the two pieces from your inside pocket, screwing them
together and then going to work. You are building up the anticipation.Ten hours later (I'm
being smart here. With some magicians, it just seems like ten hours) unscrewing the wand
and placing it back in your pocket is an applause cue saying 'the show is over'.
Personally, I do this even though I never actually use a wand in any of my routines.
Sometimes when the performance is over, someone will ask what the wand was for? My reply
is "In case of an emergency." 13 1/2 " long assembled, 5 oz. $30.00 |
 | Executive Pen A
really nice chrome ballpoint pen with cap. This is (one of) the pens that you can push
through a quarter or a dollar bill or almost anything. There are many versions of this
popular close-up effect in all price ranges but this pen is self contained. You
get one pen because there is no need to switch either before or after performing the
effect and the spectator can pick up the pen and not discover its clever secret and, yes,
it writes.. $29.00

 | Complete Card Magic DVD This is highly
recommended for anyone wanting to learn sleight of hand with cards. This is such a massive
collection of material that it takes 7 dvd's to present it all. Very professionally
organized and presented. It is offered only as a complete set. The first volume is for
beginners and the 7th is very advanced with material not found anywhere else so if you are
a novice, it is important that you take this course in order and not skip around. The
complete set is $99.00 (That's less than $15 per DVD).

 | USA FLAG BLENDO This is a close-up version of a
classic stage effect. Magician shows three small (6" square) silk hankerchiefs - red,
white and blue - which he places in his fist. When he opens his hand, he is holding a
12" x 8" American flag. This comes with the four needed (unprepared) silks, good
instructions and a thumb tip. (Experienced performers will prefer to replace the thumb tip
with either a dye tube or Rocco's Flip Tip.) In performing this, I was amazed that
the three silks fit into the provided thumb tip rather easily. QM001 $15.00

 | The Hummingbird Card This and the Whirling
Card that follows is the same trick. This version contains a very good instruction booklet
and the gimmicks to make a playing card (or your business card) float about your body. If
you can learn from a book(It is amazing to me how many people can't these days.), then get
this version as it has a really neat routine and the card really does look like a
hummingbird fluttering about. Otherwise go with the DVD. $15.00
|
 | UFO Whirling Card DVD There is
a weird effect in which you take a playing card (or your buiness card), balance it on your
finger and then give it a flick with your other hand. The card leaves your finger, spins
completely around your body and returns to your hands. This is weird and can be performed
anywhere. After watching this DVD, you will find it is very easy to perform IF you have
the gimmick. We supply the DVD and the gimmick. (There are some other web sites supplying
this cheaper but without the gimmick. What good is that?) ZC038 $15.00

 | The Magic Bird Cage
Paddle Yes another paddle trick but some thought went
into this one. I'm going to give you my routine here, not the one that comes with the
instructions so come back and read this again after you receive the props. Both routines
work the same way which is just the paddle move. (Easy to do with these paddles as they
are a quality wood, cut and sanded nicely with good edges.) Show a paddle with a
parrot on one side. He vanishes. Explain that he just flies under the paddle and turn the
paddle over. There he is. You can hand the spectator the paddle at this point. He will
eventually ask you to do it again. Take the paddle back and again the bird vanishes but
this time he is gone. Both sides of the paddle are blank. Look around and try to figure
out where he went. Up the spectator's sleeve is a good place. Place the tip of the paddle
up the sleeve and remove it. The parrot is back. Apologize saying you don't have him
completely trained and will have to put him back in his cage. Now show a second
paddle with an empty cage printed on both hides. Holding a paddle in each hand, the bird
leaves the first paddle and appears in the cage. Show the first paddle blank on both sides
and put it away. Hand the spectator the cage paddle which now contains the
bird. A quickie they will remember, this is perfect for the
restaurant worker as there is no set up and it is always ready. Instructions also
teaches the paddle move if you don't know it. $20.00

Ultra Perfect Clipboard This
appears to be a simple masonite clipboard that could be purchased at any stationary shop
for a couple of dollars. A piece of paper is clipped to it and it is handed to a
spectator with a (any) pen. The spectator is instructed to go off alone, write a question
or thought, then to remove the paper, fold it and place it in his pocket.
When he returns the board and the pen, you add a fresh piece of paper and repeat with
another spectator. This can be done a half dozen or so times and it is usually done by an
assistant in the lobby before the performance. During the show, you announce the
question and offer an answer. This is mentalism at its best. There are many
clipboards on the market and most look pretty bad. This is the best one we have ever seen,
works like a charm and is made for many years of hard use. Quick to reset between shows
and comes with a booklet of routines. This is not a toy. $175.00

 | The Joker Tube Sometimes
called Strat-O-Sphere. Magician covers a clear tube with a white tube. Three balls are
inserted in the top but when the white tube is lifted, the balls are in a different order.
This can be repeated. For a finale, two balls are placed in the tube and the third into a
wood box. When the box is opened the ball has vanished only to reappar between the two
balls in the tube. Because of the color of the balls, you can patter about traffic light
safety. This is a nice prop for children's magicians and clowns. You recieve
everything needed including the vanishing box. To give you an idea of size, the balls are
a little larger than baseballs. BM002 $69.00

 | I.T.R. Pro Pen Production was
limited to 50 and no more will be produced. We have 1 left. This is an I.T.R.
(Invisible Thread Reel) concealed inside a ball-point pen. It features the new, stronger
Kevlar thread and the thread unloads from the TOP of the pen, not the side. A twist of the
cap and you can lock the thread if you wish. I.T.R. workers will appreciate these
features. Place the pen in your shirt pocket and you are ready to go. $150.00

 | The Gold Key This
is truly an outstanding close-up effect. A 24k gold plated key is shown and you
slowly and visually slide the bit of the key 360 degrees around the base. Then you slide
the bit half way up the shank of the key. Now you leave it there and hand the key to the
spectator. Of course the bit doesn't move. Only one key is used. This is very easy to
perform and the mechanics that make it work are impressive. You will do this often.
Because the gimmick is small, it is easy to lose. For this reason, we include a 2nd spare
gimmick. The MSRP is $45 and worth it. Our price is $39. There
are simular keys on the market for less money but they are not gold plated. This is
important as the plating keeps the gimmick from scratching the key.

 | Illusion Ring A
solid metal finger ring with no moving parts. When is is turned around, either on or off
your finger, the ring appears to grow larger and expand. Turn the other way and it seems
to get smaller. This is an interesting three dimensional optical illusion. I put a routine
to it by showing the ring and explaining that it kept falling off my finger until I
realized that it would grow when it turned around. Then I explain that I solved the
problem by turning it the other way until it fit snugly. There is no secret here as
it is an optical illusion. You have a choice of gold or silver plate. $15.00
